Your glamour and your eyelashes

Flirtatious eyes are the rage today.  Women are going to salons and using glitter, lengthening mascara, fill-in lashes, eyeliners and pencils to achieve that starlet beauty.

This post will include some pointers on natural products to beautify your lashes.

Eyelash Enhancement

The lifespan of an eyelash is about 150 to 200 days.  With keratin and hair boosting peptides, most lash enhancers  extend the growth cycle so that the lashes can fill out before falling out.

One great tip for longer eyelashes is olive and castor oil which supplies the vitamins and nutrients needed to grow and enhance your eyelashes.  These two oils also help prevent them from breaking. And, castor oil can stimulate growth in eyebrows  that have been overly tweezed.

Another good tip is, probably to the disappointment of many,  to  use less mascara on them. Yup, even though mascaras promise to temporarily lengthen lashes, lashes need a break and rubbing removers on them can actually cause them to weaken and break.

Of course, beauty comes from the inside, so remember to eat a healthful diet full of vitamins A, B and E.

Basically, the regimen is simple.  Apply either oil lightly at night, use a gentle remover in the morning and rinse.  Resume your normal regime as usual.
