Keep your skin moisturized and healthy this summer

Women of all ages and from all over the USA go through painstakingly careful beauty regimens to hydrate and pamper their skin year round.  Now, that summer is nearly upon us, don't let the sweltering heat of summer prevent you from keeping your skin moisturized and healthy.  The extra skin care steps are worth it.

Just what are some additional steps to make sure that their skin is pampered and kept beautiful?

Summer Skin health

Always remember that hydration is the key to summer skin health and freshness.  Toxins are easily expelled by drinking the extra fluid and the skin will not become dried out as summer activities results in more sweating and possible dehydration.

It is a good to use the lighter face creams during the summer instead of the heavier ones.  Let them be reserved for the colder months.  Try using extra virgin coconut oil or olive which both provide light moisturization and also packs a large number of antioxidants and minerals for skin health. These ingredients also help battle problems like wrinkles and dark spots.

Also, make sure that you use sunblock to protect the skin.  An SPFof 30 or more, with broad spectrum protection (against UVA and UVB rays) are important.

Another ingredient recommended by beauty experts is glycerin.  It is a humectant that absorbs moisture into the skin.
